What happens if I do not have a Start Page for my website

By specifying a Start page the system is able to load the very first page when no web page is specified in the URL. I.e. if a user enters just your domain http://yourcompany.com and your start page is Index.htm then this web page will automatically be displayed.
If you have not specified a Start Page then the system will automatically look for any web page with the following name in the root folder: Index.htm, Index.html, Default.htm or Default.html. e.g. http://yourcompany.com/default.html.
