There are numerous ways you can position a sub-menu under a parent menu. The options provided give you maximum flexibility in controlling the look, feel and behavior of your dynamic menus.
- Under Parent - this places a sub-menu directly under the parent menu item
- Next to Parent - this option places a sub-menu directly to the right of a parent menu item
- Relative to Parent - this option places a sub-menu relative to the parent menu item. When choosing this option you need to provide X,Y coordinates.
For instance if your parent menu item is 20 pixels high and you want to display the sub-menu directly under but with an extra 10 pixel gap, you would
choose this option and put 0 for X Position and 30 for Y Position - Relative to Left Parent - Imaging you have a menu with 5 items, each having a sub-menu. This option enables you to open the sub-menu
for any of the items in the same position relative to the very first item (most left item). You need to provide X,Y coordinates - Relative to Page - This option opens all sub-menus at a given X,Y position on the screen regardless of any care for where the menu itself is positioned
